In 1960 Quentin Sweat started what would become Sweats Furniture on Norwich Street in Brunswick. After his passing, sons Ward and Dwight Sweat took over and relocated to where the store stands today.

Dwight (second generation) and son Jonathan Sweat (third generation) owners are dedicated to continuing their family's history of providing quality furniture and service to Brunswick, The Golden Isles, and surrounding counties at guaranteed lowest prices.
